India Needs Industry-Ready Passouts from Educational Institutes, Says FM Nirmala Sitharaman

The need of the hour for education institutions in India is to produce Ready passouts capable of getting into the industry, Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Saturday.

Students passing out from institutions need to be able to serve the country’s development goals, the FM said at an event in Chennai. For this to happen, India first needs to understand what the industry requires, she added.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras Study) researchers have shown that spike protein vaccines may be effective against multiple variants of Coronavirus (SARS COV-2). The results of the IIT Madras study suggest that the attack by selected variants Delta plus, Gamma, Zeta, Mink and Omicron may be dealt with by vaccine-induced T-cell responses despite the compromised neutralising antibodies responses.
